I am learning much by reading Nourishing Traditions. I don't agree with their thoughts on the cause of Mad Cow Disease (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) and some of the statements on milk production (I am a veterinarian). I think Ms. Fallon should have sought opinions from dairy scientists and inforrmed experts on Mad Cow Disease. Overall I think there is much valuable information in the book.
